Below is a list of benefits that come with membership.

BENEFITS:

  • Discounted rate of registration for the PES Annual Meeting.
  • Receipt of the Society’s yearbook, Philosophy of Education
  • Receipt of Update newsletters, published in July, October, and January
  • Receipt of the quarterly journal, Educational Theory.
    • All individual subscribers to Educational Theory will now receive online access (via Synergy) not only to Educational Theory, but to four other Blackwell journals as well: Journal of Philosophy of Education, Educational Philosophy and Theory, the British Journal of Educational Studies , and Curriculum Inquiry. So this is, in effect, five journals for the price of one. If you have forgotten the password, there is a link on the Synergy site to help you. In case of technical difficulties, contact Blackwell’s Customer Service department via email at membershipservices@bos.blackwellpublishing.com or via phone at 1-800-835-6770.
    • In addition, online access to current issues of Educational Theory will be accompanied by access to our complete back list of archived issues. The current schedule is to have the past ten years available online within the first year, and adding a decade each year after that - so that after five years all of our back issues going back to the first issue of Educational Theory (1951) will be available online.
  • Discounts of 30-60% off individual subscriptions to journals of related interest:
  • Discounted membership and conference accommodations available to graduate student members.

Second Member (from same household) will share copies of the journal, yearbook, and newsletters with the primary member.
